Maggie was one of my first friends at law school. When she asked me to do her engagement pictures, I obviously jumped at the opportunity.
Maggie conveyed that she wanted to do a photoshoot in the snow, but with the mild winter we've been having, snow was a rare commodity. Finally, Winter Storm Jonas was set to bring us our first substantial snow and we decided to schedule the shoot for that weekend. The conditions were perfect...but unfortunately, Nick had to cancel the shoot.
We rescheduled for the following weekend and although we originally planned for a snowy photoshoot, we were gifted a gorgeous 50-60 degree sunny day in January (thank you, Global Warming!!) We had so much fun walking around the city, enjoying the sunshine. Maggie and Nick were so funny and every smile that I captured that day was genuine. At one point, I made a comment that I couldn't stop smiling from behind the camera as I took their pictures.
